How Off-Grid Solar System Work
Off-grid solar systems are designed to provide electricity to homes and buildings that are not connected to the main power grid by converting sunlight into electrical energy through the use of solar panels. It consist of the following important components.
Solar Panels
- Solar panels capture sunlight and converting it into DC electrical energy.
Inverter
- The inverter converts the DC electricity output from the solar panels into AC electricity.
Charge Controller
- The Controller regulate flow of electricity from solar panels to charge the battery.
Battery Bank
- The battery bank stores the energy generated by the solar panels to be used at night.
